K-8 Enrollment

Thank you for your interest in World Compass Academy! Our school follows DCSD's Open Enrollment process, which takes place in November.

 

2024-25 Open Enrollment Key Dates:

  • First Round Open Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year opens on Nov 1. at 8 a.m. and closes on Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. 
  • Schools extend offers of open enrollment based on space availability by Dec. 8.
  • Parents can see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. and will have until Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. to log back in and accept any open enrollment offers.
  • In the event you did not receive any offers during the First Round, you will remain on a waitlist for the Second Round of Open Enrollment, which opens on Jan. 22 at 8 a.m.

Please note: Open Enrollment is not for currently enrolled WCA students (including Preschool and Pre-K students moving on to Kindergarten). Current WCA families are required to submit an Intent to Return form each Spring to secure a place at World Compass Academy the following academic year.
