Teacher Bio

I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher! 

This is my 5th year teaching 4th grade at World Compass Academy. Previously, I worked as a TA and Substitute teacher at WCA.

My undergraduate degree is from Minnesota State University and I obtained my Colorado teaching license from University of Colorado.

After graduating from Minnesota State University, I moved to Colorado to enjoy the beautiful weather and the mountains. My family loves living in Castle Rock. I am married and we have a daughter Brooklyn, who is in 7th grade at WCA, and a son, Asher, who is a 5th grader at WCA.

 

We have a lot of fun in 4th grade and we also work hard to be the best person we can be every day.

As a 4th grade team, we work together so our students know they are part of a community, enjoy the learning process, feel comfortable asking questions, and support one another as peers.

 

It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries! I am looking forward to learning all about your child. 

 

I believe that it takes a village for children to be their best and I look forward to working with you, as part of our village, to help your child be successful in 4th grade.
