Mistakes are proof that you are trying
I am thrilled to be on the 4th grade team this year at World Compass Academy!
This will be my third year working at WCA, with prior years working as a Teaching Assistant and a Substitute teacher. I have my undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University, and am continuing my education through the University of Colorado.
I have two children that attend WCA, and I love the community that has been built here. Being a part of the learning process for children is so inspiring to me, and the growth that students have throughout the year is quite amazing to witness. I am here to be a positive influence in your child's life, to continue to build a solid foundation for their education, and to encourage them to do their best as individuals and as a part of a team. I will work to utilize your child's current strengths and help them build new ones, so they may live up to their greatest potential.
When I have free time, I am often found outdoors, enjoying this gorgeous state that we live in. I am bringing my love of the outdoors into the classroom this year, and look forward to utilizing the outdoor classroom and some outdoor exploration and field trips in our lessons. We can learn so much if we really pay attention, listen to, and observe the world around us.
Thank you for entrusting your child with me this year. I look forward to working together to create a year of learning and enjoyment for your 4th grader!
