Teacher Bio

Welcome to Kindergarten,

 

Hi, my name is Clare Wilson and I am excited to teach your child this year.

 

I live in Castle Rock with my husband and 2 dogs, Willow and Holly.  I have 4 grown children, Chloe, 29, who works for the Government and lives in Washington DC, Jacob, 27, who works for Apple and lives in San Francisco, Max, 25, who works Epsilon in Westminster and Zach, 23, who works for NTT Data in Phoenix.  After my youngest went to Kindergarten, I spent most of my time in the school in the children's classes.  I then was encouraged to go back to College to obtain my Early Childhood Teaching Degree.  I have taught Pre-k for the past 15 years and was an Assistant Director and Lead Teacher at a Preschool in Castle Rock for 9 years before coming to World Compass Academy last year.

 

I love to ski, hike, bike, travel, paddle board and being with my grown kids and husband.  I am originally from England and my husband is from Scotland!! So if your child informs you that their teacher sounds different, this is why!!!  We moved to the USA 27 years ago and lived on the East Coast before moving to Castle Rock in 2010.
