A little about me… I also have a 5th grade student (Adriano) and a Kindergartener (Enzo) and I am married to my lovely husband, Miguel. I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico but our family also lived in Washington State before moving to Castle Rock in 2019. I grew up in a household/city that regularly spoke Spanglish but I received my formal Spanish language education beginning in 6th grade and continued throughout college. I have been teaching for 5 years and this will be my second teaching Spanish. I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of New Mexico. I originally wanted to work in the medical field, however life kept pushing me to teach. Both my mother and grandmother were teachers for a combined 70 years so I am helping to add to their total. I love to travel, garden, study multiple languages, cuddle my French Bulldog, play golf and practice yoga.
