Performing arts encompasses disciplines like dance, music, and theatre, offering students opportunities for creative expression and the development of essential life skills, including communication, teamwork, discipline, self-confidence. Performing arts education helps students build emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience, enriching their overall school experience.

Fall 2025 - Footloose the Musical (5th-8th)

WCA is thrilled to announce that Footloose the Musical is coming to WCA fall of 2025! This high-energy production will give our students a chance to grow in both movement and dance, while also providing opportunities for students to shine in named roles, solos, and featured dance numbers. Spring 2026 - Lion King Jr. Musical

The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world, and now you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your community. Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.”

Spring 2026 - Percy Jackson Musical

Based on Rick Riordan’s best selling book “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief,” this modern rock musical shares the tale of Percy Jackson who just discovered he is a half-blood (half human, half God).  He and his friends Annabeth and Grover set off to try to find Zeus' missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods.  Percy also learns that the things that made him feel like he didn’t belong (having ADHD and Dyslexia) are actually his superpowers and the show celebrates that “the things that make you different are the things that make you strong.
