World Compass Academy

World Compass Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school in Douglas County, CO. We focus on early foreign language education, mastery based learning, research based curriculum, and positive school culture.

 

World Compass Academy engages and inspires learners in a safe, challenging, and individualized learning environment which cultivates and fosters character, a lifelong love of learning, and the skills to engage in the global community.

 
2021-2022 Enrollment (K-8)
Second Round Open Enrollment will open on January 22, 2021 and closes on August 2, 2021. World Compass Academy uses DCSD's Open Enrollment process. Please visit the DCSD Open Enrollment page to enroll beginning January 22, 2021 or for more information.

2021-22 Preschool & PK
Preschool and PK enrollment for the 21/22 school year will be available through a lottery system. Second Round of Open Preschool & PK Enrollment will open January 22, 2021 and closes on August 2, 2021.

Important Enrollment Dates (K-8)
 
November 2, 2020 – December 1, 2020: First Round of Open Enrollment for the 2021 – 2022 school year
December 8, 2020: Enrollment offers sent via email based on space availability
December 18, 2020 @  4:00 pm: Deadline to accept enrollment offer through EngagED Parent Portal
January 22, 2021 – August 2, 2021: Second round of open enrollment
 

First Round Open Enrollment opened on November 2nd and closed on December 1st. Schools extended offers of open enrollment based on space availability by December 8th. Parents could see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on December 11th at 8:00am and have until December 18th at 4:00 pm, to log back in and accept any open enrollment offers. In the event you did not receive any offers during First Round, you will remain on a waitlist for Second Round of Open Enrollment, which opens on January 22nd at 8:00 am.

 

**Second Round Open Enrollment runs from January 22, 2021 through August 2, 2021 at 4:00pm.  If you were put on the wait list during the first round, you will still be on that list for the second round. Schools will ONLY reach out to you when and if a spot becomes available**
