Teacher Bio

My name is Luke Sakamoto, and I am the 5th Grade Math Teacher at World Compass Academy. I enjoy helping students build confidence, think through challenging problems, and discover that math can be both meaningful and fun. In the classroom, I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and take pride in their growth and effort. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, watching and playing sports, and exploring new places. I am grateful to be part of the WCA community and look forward to supporting my students as they grow both academically and personally throughout the school year.
