Hola! My name is Edie Garcia and I will be your child's Kindergarten and First Grade Spanish teacher.

I'm so excited to be teaching your child the beautiful language of Spanish

in a safe, friendly and motivating environment.

My priority is YOUR CHILD to guide and support them as they conquer milestones!

We will learn together, grow as a family, connect as a team and contribute to our community

as kind and responsible citizens.

Community is at the heart of everything I do in school and with our DJ business. For over 25 years, my husband and I have loved bringing joy, music, and fun to people as local DJs—both right here in our Castle Rock community and wherever the music takes us. That same commitment to connection, togetherness, and building strong relationships is what drives my classroom every single day.

I believe that a thriving learning environment starts with a strong partnership between school and home. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where your child feels valued, excited to learn, and ready to grow.

Building the Foundation

When I joined World Compass Academy back in 2015, my journey began in the front office. Every day, I had a front-row seat to the heartbeat of our school. Greeting students as they walked through the doors, connecting with our committed families, and supporting our incredible staff showed me firsthand how vital community, language, and culture are to a child’s development. Watching our ambitious students grow year after year sparked a deep calling in me—I didn't just want to support their learning from behind a desk; I wanted to guide it in the classroom.

Pursuing the Passion

Driven by a desire to make a direct impact, I took the step to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University. My goal was simple: turn my lifelong passion for teaching young minds into my everyday reality. Education is most powerful when it sparks genuine curiosity, which is why I weave language and dance into my teaching philosophy. Movement, rhythm, and language naturally engage children, making learning dynamic, joyful, and deeply memorable.

Growing with Castle Rock

Having been part of World Compass Academy for over a decade, my roots here run deep. Being able to transition into a classroom role within the very community that raised me as an educator is a privilege. I am honored to continue growing alongside our Castle Rock families, fostering a space where every child feels inspired to learn, move, and thrive.
