Dear WCA Families and Staff,
In anticipation of forecasted snow and wind/blowing snow, World Compass Academy will operate on a 90-MINUTE DELAY on Monday, January 8, 2023.
A 90-MINUTE DELAY translates to school and Explorer’s Club starting an hour and a half later than usual.
Here are the adjusted timings for the morning:
- Explorer’s Club (before school) programs will open at 8:00 a.m.
- School will commence at 9:30 a.m., with Carline starting at 9:10 a.m.
- All morning clubs and sports practices are cancelled.
- Middle school 0 Hour morning immersion classes are also cancelled.
We understand and respect the decisions of parents who choose to keep their children home for safety reasons. In such cases, please consider the absence as excused, and if you opt for this, kindly complete the attendance form available here.
Our top priority is safety, and our dedicated snow team will continue to monitor the storm. If there are any changes overnight, we will provide updates by 5:00 a.m. on our website, via email, and through text messages.
