Kindergarten - 8th Grade Admissions

 

Thank you for your interest in World Compass Academy! Our school follows DCSD's Admissions Process, which takes place in November/December.

 

2026-27 Admissions Key Dates:

 
  • First Round Open Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens on November 3, 2025 at 8 a.m. and closes on December 1, 2025 at 4 p.m. 
 
  • Parents can see offers in the EngagED Parent Portal on December 11, 2025 at 8 a.m. and will have until December 18, 2025 at 4 p.m. to log back in and accept any admission's offers.
  • In the event you did not receive any offers during the First Round, you will remain on a waitlist for the Second Round Open Enrollment, which opens on January 22, 2026 at 8 a.m.
 

2025-26 Enrollment:

 

  • We have very limited spots open in kindergarten through 8th grades for the 2025-26 school year. Please reach out to registrar Andrea Arthur via email for information about the 2025-26 school year.

Preschool Families:

 
Please note: Admissions is not for currently enrolled WCA students (including Preschool and Pre-K students moving on to Kindergarten). Current WCA families are required to submit an Intent to Return form each Spring to secure a place at World Compass Academy the following academic year.
