Technology at World Compass Academy
We are very pleased to bring a wide range of technologies to students, staff and faculty at World Compass Academy (WCA). Our students will have access to Chromebooks and other technology devices.
Infinite Campus
Infinite Campus is our student information system that provides students, parents, and guardians with real-time access to announcements, assignments, attendance, grades, and schedules.
During the 2025-26 school year, we’re expanding both the use of Infinite Campus and the type of information shared through the platform. It’s essential that families become familiar with it, as it will be a key tool throughout the school year. To support this transition, every session at Back to School Night will include a segment on the enhanced features of Infinite Campus and how this initiative will help parents stay engaged and better support their students’ success.

Kinder-3rd Grade Students
Classes in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade will have access to Chromebook carts. Classes in these grades will share the devices during in-person learning.
4th-8th Grade Rent-to-Own Chromebook Program
The student fees in grades 4th-8th will cover the cost of a rent-to-own program for the 1:1 Chromebook issued to students in fourth grade and the Chromebook case issued in grades sixth-eighth.
Students will be issued a new Chromebook in fourth grade (to be stored at school) and will be reissued the same Chromebook each fall through eighth grade. In sixth grade, students are able to take their Chromebook home and will be issued a case to support safe transport of the device. Students who pay the full student fee each year for grades 4-8 will keep their Chromebook and case at the end of eighth grade. Students who leave World Compass Academy prior to their eighth grade year, may purchase their Chromebook and case by buying out the remaining years at $80 per year. There are no refunds issued if students leave World Compass Academy prior to eighth grade.
Students joining the World Compass Academy middle school later than forth grade will be issued a depreciated Chromebook (and case 6-8) aligned with their grade level.
Devices will be stored at school during the summer months and remain the property of WCA until the conclusion of the eighth grade year, or the device is paid in full, whichever is later.
