Bio

Hello! I'm Kyle Haslick, and I'm thrilled to be starting my first year at World Compass Academy as an assistant principal. Before relocating to Colorado, I spent a decade teaching elementary students around the globe. My journey took me to China for eight years, Taiwan for four, and northern Greece for two. Along the way, I've had the privilege of exploring over 20 countries.

I hold two master's degrees: one in Globalization in Education and another in Educational Leadership. I strongly believe that all students should have access to education that provides them not just a national context, but a global one. 

I'm joined here in Colorado by my daughter Chloe, who is 4 years old, my wife Katy, and our cat 貓貓 (Mao-mao). In my spare time, I love playing with Chloe, watching documentaries, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends I've made from around the world.
