World Compass Academy's RUN4FUND$ 2026-27

It's time to start helping your student(s) find donors to support them for our Run4Funds! We are asking each student to set a fundraising goal of $100 to reach our $60,000 school fundraising goal. Below is a step-by-step checklist on how to start fundraising!

Your support powers our mission to keep the Cougar community safe, secure, and thriving so every student can learn, grow, and belong. Donations help support modernizing security camera upgrades, updated two-way radios for instant staff communication, a dedicated School Resource Officer (SRO), and ongoing campus safety improvements.

Parent Deadlines:

  • Monday, September 21, 2026: Email Campaign and Early Bird Donation due by 5 PM
  • Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Run Day
  • Wednesday, September 30, 2026: All Donations Due
  • Friday, October 9, 2026: Prize Day
    • If the school raises $10,000 by the Early Bird Donation Deadline, the whole school earns Popsicles on Run Day!
    • If the school raises $30,000 by the Early Bird Donation Deadline the whole school earns a Foam Party on Run Day!

Parent Donation Checklist:

  • Go to the Parent Portal Tab
  • IMPORTANT: Enter our school password - compass26
  • Enter your student’s School ID (also their lunch number which can be found in Infinite Campus)
  • Send out personalized communication to friends and family. When donors click the donate link in your email or text, they will be directed to the donor site where your student’s name and grade will already be filled in!
      • Texting/social media: Use the buttons to copy the verbiage and text out or post to your social media
      • Emailing: Scroll down to the email template, fill in the information boxes and adjust the email as necessary and send! These emails will count toward the class email prize. You can enter up to 10 email addresses in the To: box, separated by a comma (,).

Making a Cash or Check Donation?:

  • Make checks out to World Compass Academy with FUN RUN in the memo line. 
  • Put your donation in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on it
  • Deliver the envelope to the front desk (envelopes can get easily lost if you ask your child to give to their teacher)
  • Cash or check donations will be reflected on the website 1-2 days later.

How Can Parent's Help?

  • Volunteer during Run Day, September 23rd: Volunteer sign up can be found here
  • Attend Run Day to cheer your child on. You will need to sign into the front desk. Plan ahead with 15-20 minutes to park and check into the front desk prior to your child’s run time. You may park in the school parking lot (not in the 10 minute spots) or in the church parking lot.
  • Consider becoming a Sponsor or participate in your company’s Corporate Matching program. Previous communication about this process can be found here.
  • Encourage your child to fill out at home their Star Jar Coupon Sheet on the flyer they took home on 9/16. This allows them to participate in The Star Jar
  • As students reach the milestones on the Star Jar Coupon Sheet, they will drop the sheet off in The Star Jar in the front office. Ginny will oversee pulling names throughout the fundraising week for the drawing prizes. 
  • Don’t forget: There are MORE prizes on Run Day!
  • Most Laps (average/student) Class: Extra Recess
  • Top Dollar (average $/student) Grade: Elementary/MS Slime the Principal
  • Best Spirit Grade: Bling Rings 

Fun Run Grade Level Times on Wednesday, September 23rd:

  • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Kindergarten (30 min)
  • 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM: 1st Grade
  • 9:45 AM – 10:30 AM: 5th Grade
  • 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM: 6th Grade
  • 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM: 7th & 8th Grade
  • 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: 2nd Grade
  • 1:15 PM – 2:00 PM: 3rd Grade
  • 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM: 4th Grade

Prize Details:

Classroom Prizes: 

  • Send 30 emails per class by 9/21 = Pencil Charms for the class
  • $50 / Student = MS Grade Silent Disco
  • $60 / Student = Elementary Inflatables, MS Grade Dippin Dots
  • $70 /Student = Elementary Silent Disco
  • $80 / Student = Elementary Dippin Dots

 

School Prizes: 

  •  $10,000 by 9/21 = Popsicles on Run Day
  •  $30,000 by 9/21 = Foam Party on Run Day

 

Individual Prizes: 

  • $50 = Mystery Bag - Every $50 earns an additional Mystery Bag
  • $100 = Hamster Ball @ School
  • $300 = Money Machine
  • $500 = Inflatable Gift Card ($175 value)
