This year the state's "Count Day" is Monday, Oct. 2nd. This is the day that every school in Colorado must report to the Colorado Department of Education how many students are in attendance for funding purposes. These data not only determine per pupil funding that districts receive, but also at-risk and English Language Proficiency Act (ELPA) funding. National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements for the United States.

The Healthy Meals for All Program provides funding for Colorado public schools that operate under the National School Lunch Program to serve free, nutritious meals to all students beginning the 2023-2024 school year. No application is required to receive free meals and all children are eligible for free meals regardless of household income. However, families who may meet requirements for free and reduced lunch are still encouraged to submit a free and reduced application. If approved, the family will receive additional financial assistance for school fees, supplies, and field trips. Families can submit an online application at https://www.myschoolapps.com/.

Please sign up with the teacher for a conference. Sign-ups are sent via email from your student's homeroom teacher. Parents should only sign up with their student's homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers will have progress updates for all core subject classes.
