Scale for Fluency Grades for Trimester 1 ~

70 words correct per minute (wcpm) or greater = grade of 100

60-69 wcpm = 90

50-59 wcpm = 80

40-49 wcpm = 70

30-39 wcpm = 60

fewer than 30 wcpm = 50

*student's exact wcpm score will be in a comment on the grade

85 words correct per minute (wcpm) or greater = grade of 100

75-84 wcpm = 90

65-74 wcpm = 80

55-64 wcpm = 70

45-54 wcpm = 60

fewer than 45 wcpm = 50

105+ words correct per minute (wcpm) or greater = grade of 100

94-104 wcpm = 90

83-93 wcpm = 80

72-82 wcpm = 70

61-71 wcpm = 60

Scale for iReady Reading Diagnostic Grades for Trimester 3 ~

score of 561 or higher (above grade level) = grade of 100

537-560 (late 2nd grade) = 90

513-536 (mid 2nd grade) = 80

489-512 (early 2nd grade) = 70

419-488 (below grade level) = 60

lower than 418 (well below grade level) = 50

Scale for iReady Reading Diagnostic Growth Grades for Trimester 3 ~

*after the students take their first diagnostic in the fall, iReady sets a growth goal, individualized for each student. After the last diagnostic of the year, I calculated the percentage of their goal that each student achieved*

 

more than 110% of their goal = grade of 100

95%-109% = 90

80%-94% = 80

65%-79% = 70

less than 64% = 60

We have students at school with SEVERE life-threatening nut allergies. Please, please remember to be so mindful of what your child packs in their snacks. We are able to separate students during lunchtime, but NOT during snack. Please DO NOT SEND NUTS IN YOUR CHILD'S SNACK!
