Mrs. Winning's Guided Reading Class ~ Scale for Fluency Grades for Trimester 1:
70 words per minute (wpm) or greater = grade of 100
60-69 wpm = 90
50-59 wpm = 80
40-49 wpm = 70
30-39 wpm = 60
fewer than 30 wpm = 50
*student's exact wpm score will be in a comment on the grade

85 words per minute (wpm) or greater = grade of 100
75-84 wpm = 90
65-74 wpm = 80
55-64 wpm = 70
45-54 wpm = 60
fewer than 45 wpm = 50

105+ words per minute (wpm) or greater = grade of 100
