24-Hour World Tour: Speakers Needed!
As part of our ongoing commitment to cultivate and foster the skills to engage in the global community in our students, we're excited to be bringing a new event to WCA: our inaugural 24-Hour World Tour! A select group of middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) will be chosen to interact with people all around the world over a 24-hour period on March 12-13, 2026.
Application details for students will be available after winter break. Right now, we need your help assembling our roster of speakers. If you know someone who might be interested in video chatting with our students about who they are, what they do, and where they live, please ask them to fill out a brief Google Form. Completing the form does not obligate anyone to participate. We’re simply building an interest list at this stage.
If you have any questions, please contact our event coordinator and 6th Grade ELA teacher, Steve Harbula. And thank you in advance for your assistance in making our 24-Hour World Tour an unforgettable experience for our students!
