Grade Level Important Information

The ceremony will take place in the WCA GYM. 
 
- Please drop your child at 12:00 (noon), to the BLUE DOOR. 
- A WCA staff member will bring your student to a classroom and have the class ready for graduation.
- Please be mindful that each student wears a cap and it fits tightly. High hairstyle, such as pony tail/ bows, might not fit.
- The ceremony starts promptly at 12:15pm in the GYM.
- Students will wear a cap and gown and will enter in the GYM from the school hallway.
- Mrs. Merkling and teachers will address the crowd and then each student will receive a diploma.
 
AFTER the ceremony
 

You will take your child home. Parents and students are invited to join for a picnic lunch.

Parents bring drinks, simple meal to share (nut free), from 2pm until 4pm

It is located at Matney Park, 5790 Lantern Cr. Castle Rock, CO 80104 in Castle Rock, weather permitting.


May 21st is the last day of school for kindergarteners.

Kindergarten/ 1st Grade Gifted Identification Referral Testing 

  • If your child is in K or 1st  grade and you believe he/she needs evaluation for Gifted Identification and Services, you may refer your child for testing by initiating the Gifted Identification Process.  
  • NOTE:  Requesting this assessment automatically initiates the process to evaluate for Gifted Identification. 
  • Please request CogAT testing for your child by reaching out to Kate Parker, gifted facilitator, by Monday, January 29th.

Saturday, Feb. 24 from 6-10 p.m. at the Highland Ranch Mansion. This adult-only event will feature dinner and drinks, music and entertainment, as well a silent auction supporting the school.
